Grooming Your Australian Labradoodle

Because Australian Labradoodles are very low-shedding to non-shedding, their coats require regular brushing to prevent matting. Slicker brushes work well, and when used frequently can help maintain a beautiful coat.

Some valuable advice right from our groomer

Every dog owner needs to be told how important it is to introduce the grooming of puppy right from the beginning, so that when you need to brush them, they are well behaved and not only tolerate it, but enjoy their grooming sessions. Believe me groomers everywhere will thank you for helping them to have well behaved doodles to groom because it’s hard on all groomers, if they bounce around or pull their legs back for 2 hours. It will even make them have a better grooming fee. And I do suggest you make people aware of the maintenance cost, either the person at home has to be very diligent or pay a groomer to do it. So many breeders say that they don’t need much grooming when they do. A lot of doodle owners seem to be unaware of how often they need grooming
